eQHealth Solutions announces Arkansas state medical director

February 28, 2019 BATON ROUGE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--eQHealth Solutions, a leader in population health management for commercial and government entities, announced that Dr. Alan Dudley Mease, MD, FAAP, COL/USA(Ret) has been named the new Medical Director for eQHealth’s Arkansas division.

Dr. Mease is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Medicine, completed his residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center and fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He also holds board certifications with the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.

Prior to joining eQHealth, Dr. Mease served as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Public Health Behavior and Health Education at the Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Medical Director, Child and Adolescent Health for the Arkansas Department of Health. He also has more than 30 years clinical experience with the U.S. Army (both active and inactive duty) and extensive experience in pediatric clinical practice both in the United States and in China. Additionally, Dr. Mease dedicated himself to research early in his career spanning a variety of topics including experimental pathology, allergy and infectious disease and was on the forefront of telemedicine research serving as the director of what is now known as the Army’s Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC) South. Lastly, Dr. Mease has published extensively on many pediatric topics.
