Making sense of the FDA service report: A video discussion with IAMERS

May 23, 2018
Two years after opening a docket that stirred debate in the medical equipment industry, the FDA has published its highly-anticipated third-party service report.

Diana Upton, president of IAMERS, and Robert Kerwin, legal counsel for IAMERS, visited the DOTmed offices in New York to participate in a video discussion highlighting key takeaways from the report:

Ever since the FDA opened its docket in 2016, The International Association of Medical Equipment Remarketers and Servicers (IAMERS) has been a vocal part of the conversation, providing the independent service perspective on issues relevant to the investigation.

HealthCare Business News will continue to follow new developments regarding the FDA's position and is eager to hear from all stakeholders across the spectrum who wish to share their views on this subject.

The full FDA report can be read here.

Looking ahead, the FDA has opened a new docket where industry professionals can submit their comments on the new report until November 12. To view the docket on the FDA website or contribute comments to it, click here.
