TractManager, Inc. acquires Hayes, Inc.
TractManager Inc., a supplier of strategic sourcing and contract lifestyle management (CLM) solutions, has acquired Hayes Inc., a company that provides clinically-focused, evidence-based research and analysis for insurers, health plans, health care systems and government agencies.

The purchase provides TractManager with additional market opportunities for its CLM solutions, and provides a better understanding of the decision and support needs of payors and providers, in order for it to use evidence-based data to support clinical decisions and help meet the 2020 goal of the Institute of Medicine for 90 percent of clinical decisions to be based on such information.

“Hayes deepens our professional services sourcing portfolio, and expands the market opportunities for our contract management solutions," Trace Devanny, chief executive officer of TractManager, said in a statement. “Adding a significant dimension to each of our MD Buyline offerings, Hayes data is already integrated with our MedApproved product evaluation workflow solution.”

The agreement also provides growth to the team of research scientists and clinicians at Hayes. “As the founder and CEO of Hayes Inc., I wanted to secure our future so we could fulfill our mission and vision, and find a good ‘home’ for Hayes and our exceptional team of research scientists and clinicians, that would allow all to thrive and grow, “Winifred S. Hayes, R.N., Ph.D., A.N.P., said in a statement. “TractManager is that home. Together, Hayes and the other members of the TractManager family can truly transform our health care system for the benefit of all.”

TractManager acquired MedApproved earlier this year.
