We have 5 of these very portable, battery operated screening audiometers with headsets in a convenient carrying case available. The headsets are hardwired to this audiometer and cannot be removed and used with other equipment. This helps eliminate some of the calibration issues associated with mating instruments with headsets. All are warrantied to be fully functional on delivery. They may require calibration as they have been out of service for a couple of years. For basic screening applications this may not be necessary. I suspect it is by design that virtually ALL used audiometers require that annual maintenance calibration be carried out in order that to meet exacting manufacture's specifications.

The DSP Pure Tone Audiometer is designed to be a portable hearing testing instrument which can perform both a manual threshold exam and an automatic screening test. Weighing only 10 ounces and operating on standard AAA batteries, the DSP will test frequencies from 250-8000 Hz, and levels from -10 to 80 dB. In its Automatic Sequencing Mode the DSP has a special audiometric test sequence which is presented automatically by the DSP Pure Tone. The test sequence consists of a series of pulsed tones presented in descending order at 40 and 20 dB (default values), in the frequency order of 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz (default values). Frequencies and levels to be tested are user definable, and may be selected from the list of standard audiometric frequencies. The user may also vary the time-delay between stimulus presentations while in the automatic sequencing mode. audiometric testing may be conducted in manual mode as desired

Normal UPS delivery takes 7 to 10 days. Upgraded shipping will reduce this to 3 or 4 business days. The cost to upgrade shipping will be $5 to $15 depending on the destination.

7 Day Return Policy. Customer must pay the return shipping costs when returning a product. If you find the item is not as described in the ad it may be returned for a purchase price refund. Generally, all of our items have an inspection warranty which kicks in upon delivery for a period of 7 to 14 days.
